Five on Friday {June 12}

Hey y'all,

It's Friday! I actually have plans outside of my home everyday this weekend which feels a little strange since I haven't really had plans since mid-March. Tonight I will venture out to Aldi and Whole Foods to grab some groceries. I am also dropping off a few of those groceries to a friend. Saturday will be filled with Barre3 zoom class in the morning, church online, then celebrating a friend's birthday. Sunday my supper club is resuming with a cookout so I will be making this potato salad. Here are five things I am loving this week:

Sermon on the Mount.

I'm currently working through the Jen Wilkin Sermon on the Mount study with the same group of women from church who walked through the Hebrews study called Better. Right now, Lifeway is sharing the study videos as podcasts each week here. We just finished week two of nine tonight and I would encourage you to grab a group of friends to walk through it if you need a study this summer.

Mini Banana Muffins.

I've shared before but the banana bread recipe from Real Food Whole Life is amazing and very simple considering it is dairy-free and gluten-free. It is such a simple recipe and I almost always have the ingredients on hand. Even if you don't eat gluten free I would recommend checking this recipe out. You just need oats to make the oat flour, no additional alternative flours are needed. I often make them into mini muffins and pop them in the freezer to enjoy as needed.

CFA reward gifting.

If you didn't know you can redeem your Chick-Fil-A points in the app and gift them to someone, you just need to know their email. It is a great way to send a friend a pick-me up - like this week I sent my friend a drink with a cute note about getting a Diet Coke as a treat when she needs it.

Sorbet & Social Distancing.

I actually ventured out on Saturday to finally socialize with friends. I joined two of my friends at Bruster's Ice Cream. I grabbed the strawberry lemon sorbet and we sat outside for over two hours. It was a great way to see my friends (in person) together since February!

Lake Pajamas.

I finally bit the bullet and purchased some Lake Pajamas after looking at them for years. I got a short-short set in Marine since I have no short pjs right now in my size. I love them and I am excited for the summer sale in July to grab another set.

Other Favorites:

These adorable library card bookmark printables.

Target Good and Gather sparkling water is delicious. I have been loving the Strawberry Mango and the Tropical Cherry flavors.

Kristin Winchester's new blog. I have met Kristin a few times at Southern Wedding events and we are sorority sisters (she graduated a few years before I joined). I love her heart and I'm excited to follow along with her blog.

I hit 400 followers on Bloglovin! It's actually fitting since this week I posted my 400th post.

"Ants on a Log" I have been on an ants on a log kick and even ate them for dinner last week on a night I didn't feel like cooking. I have even made it on a rice cake instead of celery which I joked with my mom should be called "ants at a picnic."

Also, random question, do you reply back to comments on the original post or due you reply by email? I reply back via email but sometimes comments come from noreply blogger emails and I can't reply back to you. Do you go back to posts to check the comments?

Best,
