I had a jam packed weekend and I'm ready to start October since there are Fall temperatures finally on the 10 day forecast, my crazy month of September is almost over, and routines can be settled back into. Here's what happened this weekend:
Friday
It was a late day at the office on Friday and I headed straight from the office to Aldi to grab groceries for the week. I was home around 7:30pm and ate some leftover Trader Joe's tomato soup and sourdough toast while watching DCC: Making the Team.Saturday
Saturday morning started with a tough Barre3 class in Chapel Hill that had me shaking! I then headed to CFA for a chicken biscuit and some fruit for my brunch meal. The rest of the morning was filled with packing to head to my parent's house, getting ready for the UNC/Clemson game, and picking up my apartment.
It was an intense game and UNC held there own against the #1 team in the country, Clemson with a 21-20 loss.
After the game I dropped Maryscott back off and headed straight to my parent's house. It was a late drive but I got there around 10pm and enjoyed catching up with my parents before heading to bed.
Sunday
We had a lazy Sunday that started with orange rolls and then watching church from my parent's kitchen table. After a lunch of pizza from a local place, I took a much needed nap and then worked on some BSF questions before a dinner of meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and corn. We also went through some of my Grandma's salt and pepper collection before dinner. I thought this set was adorable.
Then we ended the night watching the Hitman's Bodyguard on TV and it was a funny action packed movie although me and my mom had some unresolved questions at the end.
Monday
I got up early and packed my car before heading to the dentist for my 8:30am appointment. Yes, I still see my dentist back home. It's an excuse to see my parents at least two weekends a year, and I have been with the same dentist and dental hygienist for over 15 years!
How was your weekend?
Best,
