Hey y'all,
Can we just get a FriYAY over here? It has already been a day as while I was grabbing a Tropical Green Tea as a treat this morning, my waterbottle spilled all over my bag. Yep, my entire purse's contents are all drying out right now on my work table. It looks like my new
Simplified planner got wet along the bottom edge and my Moleskine notebook I keep for to-do lists and blog ideas got hit the worst. It looks like I am now on the hunt to replace that journal. Can 5pm now get here already?
As always, I am linking up this Friday with some amazing bloggers to share five things I am loving this Friday.
one.
Moon and Lola Downtown Raleigh Sample Sale. This girl is keeping up her no spending goal(apart from purchasing a wedding gift for a friend and signing up for my half marathon) but if you are in the Triangle area, check out Moon and Lola on Wilmington Street in downtown for up to 80% off during their sample sale through tomorrow!
two.
Drinks at the
Durham. This past Tuesday, friends from my bible study got together to celebrate summer, new jobs, and new homes with drinks at the Durham hotel. The hotel has a wonderful rooftop bar with lots of fun drinks. We were able to snag a few of the couches and hung out for a few hours watching the sunset.
three.
Romans study. I talked about it last week but I have really been enjoying the
She Reads Truth Study on Romans and making a morning quiet time a priority. My cat, Max loves to come say hi during my study though so it can be quite comical.
four.
Half Marathon Training. With National Running Day this week I signed up for my third half this December. I have not been running consistently so currently I am training for a 5K this September, a 10k late October, and then the half in December.
five.
Baby Sister. My baby sister, Kate, is officially coming home to visit! Kate lives in Texas and hasn't been back to NC since July. While she isn't coming until August (she's in a wedding), we are already plotting our sister adventures. So far haircuts (we love our stylist in out hometown), a workout class, pool time, and a yummy lunch date are planned.
What have you been loving this week?
A moon and lola sample sale! That is so fab!! Have a great weekend.

Oh it hurts me thinking about your Planner and notebook! I don't even like crinkled pages! Hope you were able to find a replacement. :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to run a half-marathon, definitely on my bucket list!

UGH purse spills are the worst. My previous planner was permanently stained after the Coffee Catastrophe of 2016. I hope your stuff dries out ok! And it looks like you have the cutest Bible study visitor! :)
