We are less than two weeks away from Mother's Day so if you have not begun shopping here are some ideas to treat all the mom's in your life to.
My Mom can be one of the hardest people to shop for. She loves to garden, read, and volunteers a lot. Typically for gift giving occasions my siblings and I often get her gift cards to Barnes and Noble, her favorite hand cream or some chocolate covered strawberries (her favorite treat). This year, she is actually coming up for a girls weekend and I am excited to hang out and spend some one on one time with her as well as showering her with a few fun gifts.
I think everyone loves a little pampering and this robe from Nordstrom is gorgeous. I would pair it with your mom's favorite hand cream or even a gift card to a local spa. This lavender scrub would also be a great addition.
If your mom loves being active, why not gift her with some classes to her favorite studio like this Barre3 package, a fun waterbottle, or sign up to run a race together! I think experience gifts are always more memorable.
My mom has an amazing green thumb and her garden is filled with fun snail statuary like this little guy made by an artist in Vermont. If your mom loves to garden or wants to start, a fun book about gardening and some seeds would be a fantastic gift.
Speaking of books, I love receiving cookbooks and this one by Chef Vivian Howard is on my list. I am dying to head to Eastern NC to eat at the Chef and the Farmer (the restaurant she owns and is featured on the PBS show). If you are local, why not book some reservations for the summer and include this cookbook as a gift?
Lastly, there are some fashionable moms and grandmas out there and this mamacita clutch made me giggle. It is from the Flourish Market which means it is ethically made and so adorable. I also love the grandma and mom shirts from All She Wrote Notes. There are lots of shirts with various names people call their Mamas and Gigis.
Jewelry is always a safe bet and if you haven't tried Nickel and Suede, be prepared to never want to wear another earring again. These are made of leather so they are so light and I have received so many compliments and surprised looks when I reveal my gold pair are leather and not heavy metal.
