Five on Friday {December 9th}

Hey y'all,

It has been a crazy busy week and I think my cat might be a little upset that I haven't spent all of my free time with him. Between small group, two nights of babysitting, and then a small group dinner tonight I have been all over this week. This weekend I am hitting up Cyclebar as well as two holiday parties--one for work and then I am hosting my second annual ornament exchange. I am also hoping to have time to swing by Raleigh since the Governor's Mansion is having their holiday open house.

one.Holiday Teas. It is time to break out the holiday teas and festive mug. My favorite holiday teas are the Trader Joe's Vanilla & Cinnamon black tea as well as the Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride and Candy Cane Lane from Celestial Seasonings.

two.  The North Carolina Chinese Lantern Festival. I went to the festival last Friday with my parents and it was so much fun. We ate at the Wandering Moose Food truck and then walked around all of the light displays. The swans and dragon on the water were some of my favorite. If you are in NC I highly recommend checking it out since it will be around until mid-January.

three. Book Club Holiday Party. This past Sunday my book club got together to eat yummy food, talk about all of the books we have read, and have a book swap. It was the perfect way to start the holiday season. It's crazy to think this was our third Christmas party and that we have been going strong since January 2014.
You might recognize Laura and Traci from their blogs. We have known each other for over eight years!

four. J.Crew Factory Quilted Puffer Vest in Seaside Coral. Y'all, this has become my new favorite piece in my wardrobe. I received it a few weeks ago and have worn it at least 10 times. I took it home for Thanksgiving and wore it three times that weekend alone. It is currently on sale for less than $30!

five. The Christmas Peaceful Piano Playlist. I love playing classical music while at work and I have been playing this soundtrack all week. It is almost 3 hours long and the perfect background music. I also love that there are some random songs like the instrumental, Do You Want to Build a Snowman?

Fuller House returns tonight, are y'all watching the second season?
