Hydrangeas and Hellos

Hey y'all,

I'm back! I know I planned to be back a long time ago but due to some things going on in my life (I'll write a whole post in a few weeks when everything is officially settled) I decided to put the blog on the backburner. But, I've been itching to blog since Thursday when I got some exciting news. I feel so much lighter and brighter right now (although I have stress ate over the last 4+ months and I'm back to my heaviest weight).

Anyhoo, I really just wanted to say thanks for sticking around and if you are new to my little space of the internet, welcome! Here's a quick introduction:

My nicknames-Jess, JD, JDris, Messy Jessie(from when I was little)

I'm from North Carolina although you would never guess that from my accent(my Mom's from the West Coast and my Dad's from the East Coast).

I love the color pink and navy.

I have a BA in English so I'm a bit of a book worm.

I love to cook.

I love to travel but currently my 5 year pay off all debt plan (student loans+car) means no trips.

I'm a pen snob.

I'm very competitive at Disney Scene It.
