Miscellany Monday {Weekend Recap}

Hey y'all,

I haven't done an update in a while and I love lifestyle posts so here's a look into my weekend.

Friday

Friday was a typical work day including a nice lunch out with some of my work besties. I drove straight from work to dinner with my baby sister. We were able to catch up and then went on a mini adventure to search for yellow shoes for a wedding she is in later this summer. We found a pair from Tory Burch at Nordstrom rack but she decided to hold off. I did end up grabbing a Kate Spade bow ring there.

After I said goodbye to my sister, I went back to my apartment to finish framing the present for LC's bridal shower the next day. I ended up watching a few episodes of Outlander and made frozen banana+almond milk soft serve.

Saturday

I got up early and was able to clean my apartment before I got ready for LC's bridal shower. Meg and Em went above and beyond and I will share some photos from the shower on Wednesday.

After the shower, I met up with my bible study co-leader Sam and we caught up on life/planned for small group this week and brainstormed ideas for our summer study. She had to be at church early so we wrapped up and I headed to the Kendra Scott store. There was a special promotion that if you spent $75 you would receive a periwinkle Rayne necklace in celebration of UNC's advancement to the Final Four. I ended up with two pairs of Danielle earrings.

The rest of the evening was spent at church, going to dinner with friends after service and then watching the Carolina/Syracuse game.

Sunday

I spent the morning babysitting J&L as usual and then ran to Aldi & Target for some groceries. The rest of the afternoon (6 hours total) I spent catching up on the World Figure Skating Championships with eCs. Woohoo to Ashley Wagner's silver medal! It's the first time in 10 years the US had a Women's World Championship medal.

Sunday night I spent some time dyeing Easter eggs (my roommate's a teacher and was gone over Easter/this past week for spring break) and watching episodes of Outlander.
